Listen, if they want to keep my business, they can’t raise prices by fifty cents in such a short span of time. I remember chicken costing $5.35 in high school. Wasn’t there a point in time (five years ago?) when a chicken burrito cost $5.05? The BLS reports that the price of whole chicken is 1% higher since April of 2002. I suspect their higher prices have to do with their naturally raised chicken.
They can keep their naturally raised chicken. I can’t taste a difference. Moreover, I’m not about to pay that much more for something I can’t taste. Moral of the story? Don’t pass the cost of corporate responsibility on to the consumer.
burritos are too expensive!
