I am not writing about your food today. I'm writing about your horrible, degrading and humiliating hiring practices. My son had been hired last week for $8 and change an hour. Now though that isn't alot in this economy, he was excited to have a job. He was told he'd have to wait a week to start training. This weekend he started training under some very humiliating conditions. Your managers/trainers were talking to people like they were children. Talking down to them and making them jump through hoops. Though it appears that no one minded terribly, they were lucky to have a job, so you people were able to do it. Then, after two days of this constant degrading treatment making people feel like idiots, the supervisors started calling people out one at a time, taking them outside and telling them they weren't "Chipotle" material! Are you kidding me? In these tough times, making people feel like crap, making them jump through stupid hoops thinking they have a job, and then just letting them go cause you can? Well, knowing this is the practice of your company my wife and I who were loyal customers and ate there frequently will never eat at your establishment again and will tell all that'll listen. We will NOT support a company that treats desperate people looking for a job like this!
My son was let go after 2 days of training without cause, I wrote the company, this is the letter I wrote.
